Want to be part of our community? We’re currently recruiting for a Managing Agent Officer to join our Home Ownership team.
What you’ll achieve in the role:
The overall purpose of this role is to oversee external managing agents, ensuring effective estate management, resident satisfaction, and financial transparency.
Key responsibilities include:
Monitor managing agents' budgets and accounts to ensure compliance with legal agreements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for residents regarding managing agent issues and attend Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and other resident forums to address concerns.
Proactively manage finances to prevent unexpected cost increases and improve transparency.
Work closely with internal teams, including Development, Neighbourhood Wardens, and Estate Services.
What you’ll bring to Raven:
For this role, we are looking for someone with the following:
Strong understanding of lease agreements, including terms, interpretation, and legal/regulatory responsibilities.
Customer-focused, with a commitment to providing a customer-centric approach to all interactions and decision-making.
Understanding of service charges and how they are applied, calculated, and communicated.
Experience working within a regulated sector, adhering to policies, regulations, and standards in property or housing management.
You will also share our values: earning trust by being open and accountable, listening with an open mind, working collaboratively, and caring about making things better.
DBS clearance will be required for this role.
