We’re recruiting for a Head of Strategic Portfolio & Change to join our Resources directorate and be a member of our Business Management Team, working closely with our Leadership Team, senior managers, and colleagues across the organisation to manage and deliver our strategic programme and other change activity. 

What you’ll achieve: 

The overall purpose of this role is to be organisational lead for change and delivery of programmes and projects, ensuring these align to our organisational strategy and helping to create a golden thread that connects our mission, strategic plan, organisational objectives, and measures of success. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing frameworks and tools for all aspects of programme and project delivery.

  • Collaborating with Leadership Team and senior managers to identify and define projects and activities to deliver strategic outcomes.

  • Advising on prioritisation and sequencing of projects to deliver Raven’s strategic plan.

  • Leading a team of project managers and business analysts to support project sponsors and business leads to deliver agreed projects.

What you’ll bring to Raven: 

For this role, we are looking for someone with the following:

  • Experience in developing and delivering organisation-wide strategic programmes and change projects

  • Good understanding of change management approaches and experience of the design and implementation of change and project management frameworks and processes.

  • Practical experience with project management techniques (e.g., Scrum, Lean, Prince 2).

  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to persuade, challenge, collaborate, and motivate at senior level.

  • Ability to deliver in a fast paced environment with competing demands and stakeholders

  • High level of digital curiosity with excellent digital skills.

DBS clearance will be required for this role.
