Job Description - Employer Engagement Officer

Raven is here to make a difference, working as a team to build homes and change lives. We’re also ambitious: a sector-leader in carbon reduction, with commercial ventures and a focus on the future.

Want to be part of this? We’re currently recruiting for an Employer Engagement Officer to join our Community Investment team.

What you’ll achieve in the role:

The overall purpose of this role is to actively support Raven’s employment offer to residents and tenants in our local communities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a strong portfolio of employers, business networks, and employment networks in Surrey and Sussex to identify and establish employment, volunteering, and work placement opportunities.

  • Promoting the service and benefits widely, whilst growing the profile and contact base of the project.

  • Working with colleagues and partners to ensure all participants were given the relevant support to overcome their individual barriers to work, and making referrals to specialist support providers if the project is unable to meet their needs.

  • Collect and record relevant evidence and data on the project and employers and participant’s progress, whilst maintaining confidentiality, onto our CRM system.

  • Collect and securely record relevant evidence and data on the project, employers, and participants’ progress and activity according to requirements onto CRM system.

What you’ll bring to Raven:

For this role, we are looking for someone with the following:

  • A good understanding of employer engagement with knowledge of processes for effective stakeholder management.

  • A strong understanding of needs within vulnerable or disadvantaged groups with experience in providing clear outcomes.

  • Excellent communication skills, whilst being skilled in influencing and negotiation skills for a range of customers.

  • A full, clean driving licence.

You will also share our values: earning trust by being open and accountable, listening with an open mind, working collaboratively, and caring about making things better.

DBS clearance will be required for this role.

Vacancy Close Date: 2nd September 2024

What Raven will offer in return:

To create a great experience for our customers, we need to create a great experience for one another. What Raven offers goes beyond the ordinary, giving you the opportunity to join a community of people who share the same values and are passionate about making a difference.

Our reward package includes:

  • Competitive salaries
