Want to be part of this? We’re currently recruiting for a Bricklayer/Ground Worker to join our Repairs team.

What you’ll achieve in the role:

The overall purpose of this role is to carry out repairs and improvement works from minor repairs to large one-off projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out a range of bricklaying/groundworks for occupied and empty properties and communal areas up to current legislative standards, to prevailing performance standards and in accordance with the Trust’s procedures.

  • Carrying out administrative work, using the hand held IT device to accurately record whilst on-site all processes from receiving jobs through to completion, using the appropriate schedule of rate code(s) and detailed records of materials used and work competed.

  • To undertake both responsive and planned maintenance bricklayer/groundworker services

  • To work positively as part of a large multi-skilled trades team to deliver an outstanding service with a strong customer focus.

What you’ll bring to Raven:

For this role, we are looking for someone with the following:

  • Experience of working as a trades operative in a strongly customer-focused environment

  • Competence in all aspects of bricklaying/groundwork and appropriate  level of ability and skill in other related construction trades.

  • Ability to use modern communication technology and IT.

  • A full, clean driving licence

DBS clearance will be required for this role.
